The Gospel is a message about you: What will you do?

A guilty man set free on account of another. Is that justice? No, that's grace.

"And taking the twelve, he said to them, 'See, we are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written about the Son of Man by the prophets will be accomplished. For he will be delivered over to the Gentiles and will be mocked and shamefully treated and spit upon. And after flogging him, they will kill him, and on the third day he will rise.'" Luke 18:31-33

  1. One theologian I listen to frequently often says this about grace, "As soon as you start think that grace is owed, you are no longer thinking about grace." That's something I forgot pretty often.

Also, I don't think I ever thought about the picture of sin being placed on Jesus even in the instance of setting Barabbas free. Sad I never caught such an obvious parallel.
